People do not swim here because the waters are really cold but, there is always a great view. I would recommend that you do not visit cloudy areas like this as early as I did. There were too many clouds in the sky that morning to get a good view but, the park was still very beautiful as I took a walk around on docks.
Cuenca has four major rivers that flow through the city. I was able to visit one of them called the Tomebamba which runs through the city. It is so long that it joins the Amazon River that is many miles away from the city. Although it is not safe to drink water from here, the people love to enjoy sitting next to the river to read books, have picnics and to do fitness workouts.
