






She absolutely loves exploring the mercado, or market, on the hunt for a bone or two. I know her owner, a lovely woman who works at one of the organizations where I volunteer. Every time I arrive, Abby is eagerly sitting under her owner's desk, ready to greet me!
Wild horses! I went hiking this week and actually saw some wild horses. The only other time I've seen them was in movies, just relaxing and roaming around big open fields. I never thought I'd see them in real life out in nature.
In other news, Volcan de Fuego (which means "Fire Volcano") is still erupting. That's pretty normal. It erupts with small blasts of gas and ash roughly every 20 minutes. Bigger eruptions don't happen often, but they've caused some major damage before, making Volcan de Fuego the most active volcano in Central America historically.
