I learned there are five different types of seagrass on the island. Seagrasses are home to many fish and are food for green sea turtles.

This week was Diwali, an Indian Hindu holiday. It is called the Festival of Light. On this day, everyone dresses up in traditional clothing, eats food and lights fireworks! This day represents light winning over dark, good beating evil. People try to light as many lights and fireworks as possible to welcome good fortune into their homes.
