Pollution and Plastic: two big problems in Vietnam!

Is this need being met? How?:

Despite the differences between countries when it comes to plastic pollution, people, no matter where they are from, all want to live in a place that is clean and healthy for them and for others. Many people in Vietnam have therefore decided to take action against plastic pollution. Plastic straws are being replaced with bamboo straws. A group called "Vietnam Recycles" has set up certain spots in Hanoi and in Ho Chi Minh City where people can drop-off recyclables. Other people have decided to solve the plastic problem with art. Plastic craft villages, or villages that make souvenirs and other items out of plastic, work hard to recycle. Places like the "The Hive" in Ho Chi Minh City, show films and teach lessons to people about how important it is to take care of the environment.

With young people leading the way to a better future, hopefully, Vietnam's plastic problem will become a thing of the past. It sounds like Vietnam is on the right track. In fact, I think the United States could learn a thing or two from Vietnam about the importance of recycling. Teamwork, between countries and people, will help create a world that is cleaner and greener.
