Hi! I am a student here in Germany and am studying medicine in Heidelberg. My family comes from a smaller village that I visit often on the weekends. When I am not studying, I enjoy talking and cooking with my roommates, swimming and listening to music.
That is going to be a secret! But like Elizabeth, my name has three parts, a first name, a middle name and a last name.
I live in a Wohngemeinschaft in an apartment building in Heidelberg. In Germany a lot of students live in Wohngemeinschaft buildings. These are shared apartments between students. We each have our own bedroom and together share the kitchen, bathroom and sometimes the living room. In my Wohngemeinschaft we have four people in total. All of us are studying different disciplines, and it is nice to come home to friends and talk about our different days.
Our apartment is on the second floor in a small apartment building. It is nice because there is actually another shared student apartment one floor below us, so we can easily spend time with these people too. My roommates and I have a medium-sized kitchen, a small bathroom, a small shower-room and then a hallway space where we hang up all of our coats and leave all of our shoes. It is nice and homey.
