Talking to a University student

Introduction:

Ramona is a student at the same university that I study at. She is studying computational linguistics as well as taking a class to learn Mandarin Chinese. She is a little bit shorter than I am; has blond hair; and has a kind of surprised smile. We talked together at the university about her classes and what she is doing right now with her life.

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

Breakfast changes depending on the day: sometimes it is a yoghurt; at other times it is a bread roll with some kind of cheese spread. Lunch is usually taken at the Mensa (cafeteria) on campus, so that menu changes from day to day. Dinner also varies, but is always vegetarian and most of the time home cooked.

What is your house like?:

She lives in a student apartment like I do. Her shared apartment is also on my side of the river.

What chores do you have at home?:

Due to the fact that Ramona lives in a shared apartment, the house-mates share all of the chores. They have a weekly rotation for who cleans the kitchen, bathroom, and general entrance area.

What jobs do your parents have?:

We did not have a chance to discuss this. But to make up for that, there is a fun fact about end of the year celebrations in Germany.
