Since we had two professional chefs on hand, one Palestinian and one French, we created dishes inspired by both cultures.
I listened to lots of different Arabic music on the radio, as well as a nice playlist on the Spotify app called "Happy Hits." Since the weather is nice now, I like to pump up the music in my car and roll my windows down to take in the fresh air as I wait in heavy traffic.
My most fun activity was definitely the awesome food tour that I went on in Jericho! Not only did I learn so much about fresh foods and ate delicious foods, but I also got to meet many interesting people from over 12 different countries who are either working or visiting Palestine.
I'm picking up with a book that I started reading a while ago called Waiting for Snow in Havana: Confessions of a Cuban Boy by Carlos Eire.
I've been dancing Dabke, which is a traditional Palestinian folk dance in which I am taking classes. I've been quite busy lately and haven't had much time to try playing any new sports.
