The main language spoken here is Twi, but in my host house Ewe is the spoken language. The languages in Ghana may sound similar to a foreigner, but they are all completely different.
The cedi is the type of currency used here. 1 U.S. dollar is very close to 5 GH cedis.
A bottle of water varies in cost. There are three sizes that are commonly found: small, medium, and large. The most expensive, the largest bottle, costs around 3 to 4 cedis.
My favorite meal is breakfast, and I have it almost every day. I usually eat toast with peanut butter and a locally made chocolate spread. Cocoa is abundant in Ghana, so chocolate products are found everywhere!
I have been listening to a lot of relaxing soul music. When I come home from school, I kick my sandals off, lie down, and let the music put me to sleep.
