The most fun activity was teaching a group of kids some action songs from when I was a child. I love kids and songs a lot! So when I got the opportunity to interact with some kids in Kampala, I taught them songs which we sang and danced to.
This week, I have just been reading some news and science articles. I like to keep up with the news back home in the U.S. as well as news in Uganda. I also read scientific articles to help in my research. I am also reading a book by Atul Gawande.
While in Kampala, I got to play soccer with some kids I was staying with. It was so fun! I miss them already.
I traveled to Ghana for the Christmas holidays. It was so exciting to see some family and friends. It had been a while since I visited so I was very happy to be back.
