It is crazy that four months have passed since I first arrived in Budapest, Hungary. I can remember it being warm and sunny then, and now it is cold and windy! I have learned so much about myself and the life that I would like to live. I have gained incredible experiences that I would not have been able to have anywhere else. Budapest has been a magical city to live in, and I have enjoyed every moment of it. I feel honored and I am glad that I have been able to share my experiences here with all of you! I hope I have made you feel like you can have a similar experience sometime in your life!
One of the best parts of my experience abroad has been the friendships that I have made. I did not know anyone coming here, and I knew that I would meet a lot of people. The coolest part about arriving in a new city with a new group of people is that everyone is in the same boat and wants to meet people. The people that I have traveled with are now my best friends, and I am sure that I will visit some of them in the United States. I am happy that my best Hungarian friend, Adam, will be coming to the U.S. this summer, so I will be able to see him again soon. My other good friend Leo, from Sao Paolo, Brazil, is someone that I will stay in contact with as well.
