School starts at 7:55 am. Fat gets home very late because he works at a local market and also hangs out with his best friend, Hilan, every day. They like to go to McDonalds after school. He usally gets home around 6 p.m.
Fat walks to school, but he takes the bus when he is running late. It takes him about 30 minutes to walk there. He was allowed to start going to school alone at 8 years old.
He eats lunch at home and his favorite food is pasta.
Fat speaks German. You can say "Hallo" or "Guten Tag" to greet someone in Germany.

Fat says that his German homework is the hardest and his English homework is the easiest. He only spends about three hours a week doing homework because it's easy and he can get it done pretty quickly. Some days are really hard and it takes him six hours to do his homework.
