Over these past weeks, I have tried foods in many different places, and every bite was like a new adventure! Each taste was yummy and taught me something about the people, the land and the culture of that country.
I've tried lots!
In Germany, I ate a giant pretzel with cheese and a spicy kebab sandwich filled with meat and veggies. In France, I had a pistachio pastry, creamy brie cheese and a sweet berry crepe. In Italy, I enjoyed a pistachio croissant with filling that was rich and nutty. In Ireland, I tasted fresh grapes from a market that were so juicy and sweet!
The pretzel in Germany was crunchy on the outside yet soft inside, and the cheese added just the right amount of flavor. If I wasn't sharing with my friend, I could've eaten the whole thing! The kebab had meat and lettuce and lots of sauces, and while it was a little spicy, it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.
The French pastry was buttery and had a nutty (pistachio) crunch, and the chocolate eclair was so rich and filling. (Don't tell my mom that I ate it for breakfast!) We had brie cheese at our picnic that was soft and creamy, and which made us feel fancy.
