Traveler Bio

Konnichiwa! Hello! My name Gabrielle Scott, but you can call me Brie. I am a 23-year-old college senior and I am from East Saint Louis, Illinois. I have been studying Film and TV Production at Missouri State University since 2016. I have also studied Japanese since 2017. My dream is to travel the world as a cinematographer and freelance content creator.

I have loved languages and art for as long as I can remember, and have fond memories of trying to learn new languages on my own while growing up. I dreamed of traveling the world one day. That day finally came in 2019 when I received a scholarship and was able to travel to Japan for the first time. While there, I immersed myself in the culture, art, and architecture while practicing using Japanese. It was unforgettable!

Now, I'm still working on my Japanese and planning my next visit to Japan. Want to take a virtual journey to Japan with me? Let's go!
