I've been living in Paris for nearly four months now. That's a really long time for me to be away from my family. I have never been away from them this long. I miss them a lot. Plus, December is here. The wind is cold, the streets are shiny from the rain, and the sky is always filled with clouds. The chilly weather reminds me of the winter holidays I spend with my loved ones back home.
My study abroad program isn't over yet, because the school year ends in June. Luckily, I don't have to wait until then to see my family. I'm going back home for the holidays. This means I'll be leaving France for a bit, but it also means that my Reach The World journey has come to an end.
I'd like to thank all of you for coming with me on this trip. I think it's been great having an audience of smart, young folks like you. I'm glad I was able to teach you all about Paris through my articles. I hope you learned a lot. I know I did! Going out into Paris to find interesting things to talk to you all about has been amazing for me, too. I got to discover a lot of cool places to show you. What was your favorite part of this journey? For me, I think I really enjoyed the food. France is known for its fine food, and taking photos of my meals to share with you all has been one of the highlights of my experience.
