This is causing problems for certain crops, like mangoes, that can't withstand such high temperatures so early in their growing season. I saw a report recently that said this could lead to 80% fewer mangoes this year compared to last. This is sad news for me, because I love mangoes! The good news is, there are still a lot of other delicious fruits in season this time of year, like watermelon.
