As 2019 winds down, I bid you a temporary adieu!
I've really enjoyed sharing my favorite city with you. Montreal is an enthralling place, one I feel so fortunate to call home, and I have enjoyed the opportunity to let you in on some of its awesome quirks and specialties. I hope some of you might even be intrigued enough to want to visit someday!
In March, I'll be heading to Uruguay, and what I write about there will be totally different than what I've shared with you so far. In discussing Montreal with you, I've been revisiting aspects that I love of a place that I know. When I'm in Uruguay, you'll be discovering everything right along with me! We're following two very different paths.
I'm looking forward to my new journey, but I have to admit, I'm apprehensive about leaving home. That's why I'm focusing on appreciating my favorite parts of Montreal before I go.
What are some of the things you'd miss about where you live if you were to move away? I don't think I'll miss the Montreal winter while I'm in Uruguay, but I expect to miss hearing French all the time, eating poutine, and definitely spending time with my cat!
I hope this upcoming holiday season gives you all a chance to reflect on what you love about the place where you live. Maybe you'll even spend some time thinking up your own travel goals as well!
