The resort is not operating yet, but I'm friends with the director there, so I was able to go around with her one day. Even though there are some organic gardens and farms in Soc Trang and other parts of Vietnam, most farms and gardens here are sprayed with pesticides to protect what people are growing from bugs and other pests. As people find and learn about cheaper, more efficient and less dangerous ways to protect crops, more people may choose organic farming.
