Harry's Journey to Costa Rica

In New York I lived in a concrete tower. Here in Costa Rica I’m living in a small house on a sugarcane farm!

While I do miss my home, the people are incredibly kind and have made my whole experience amazing. If I go to buy eggs for breakfast, the lady in the store always throws in some fruit for free. If I walk from my house to the bus stop (which is a 30 minute walk!), people often stop and give me a ride. It has been small moments like these that have made me completely fall in love with this country.

I’m excited to share stories with you all about my time here! I’d also love to hear from some of you, too. Do you think you would like living in a small town? Does rural life interest you? Can you imagine yourself living in another country?

Talk soon!
