Hello, I'm Patrick! I am the Cruise Director aboard Le Commandant Charcot. I would love to tell you more about me and my career in the maritime industries.
I grew up in Malta, and started my career in the maritime industries when I was 20 years old. I've been living in Brazil for three and a half years now, since 2020. I'm married, and we have four beautiful Pomeranians. Their names are Louis, Giselle, Nikiya and Franz. Louis is the eldest, and Franz is the youngest!
I co-own and operate a dance studio in Brazil with my husband. We teach jazz, ballet and contemporary dance. We have over 200 students. It is a private school, but we also have an NGO to provide scholarships for students who cannot pay their monthly fees. The majority of the students are engaging in professional training to have a career in dance one day. Our school is the bridge between their lives now and their future careers!
Are you wondering how I became involved in a dance company? I became involved with the dance program during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was working for another cruise company in their head office, as well as my husband. The office shut down due to the pandemic. We lost our jobs! Right after this, we had an opportunity to get involved with this dance school. My husband had always dreamed of owning a school.
