A hui hou or sayonara, as we say in Japanese, fourth graders!

I feel so lucky to have been able to share my adventures with you and bring you along on this journey! This will be my last update for you all and I sincerely hope you enjoyed this just as much as I did. In this last blog, I want to tell you about some of my favorite things I have seen, eaten and done so far.

Starting off, I have been really enjoying the food here! The dish in the picture is called “ramen” and is made of noodles in a broth with vegetables and sometimes meat. I like when they make it really spicy! There are so many different ramen shops all over Tokyo, and I have slowly been making my way through them.

The second picture is a view of the Tokyo skyline at night, with the Tokyo Tower lighting up right in the middle. I got to see this when I went to the top of a very tall building that had glass windows all the way around it. Coming from Maui, where the palm trees are taller than most buildings, seeing this view was quite amazing.

The third photo is of the famous Tokyo train station. I really like this station because there are so many shops and floors to explore and get lost in.
