Talking through the things that confuse me with my mom, my friends who are also studying abroad and my host family have helped me adjust and make sense of this new culture.
At the beginning, I was so worried that it would be hard to settle into life in Spain. Now, Sevilla feels like home. When I travel, I miss my host family and being home. While the cultural differences at first were really overwhelming, now they feel like fun little missions and adventures. It keeps every day interesting and every day I continue learning more about the city that I’m living in!
