I interviewed one of my students, Hayrunnisa, and talked about her daily life in Sivas. She is a first year at Sivas Bilim Ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi, and is already in the B1+ level of English! Hayrunnisa is kind, smart and incredibly hard working. In addition to talking about her life as a student, we discussed her hometown and what she wants students in the U.S. to know!

In Sivas, Hayrunnisa lives in a dorm with other students. Her hometown is Giresun where she lives with her family in an apartment just outside of the city center.
She has a younger brother named Demir. He is 15 years old. He has blue eyes, dark blonde hair and is about 1.85 meters tall. He is quite funny, respectful and enjoys spending time with his friends. Demir's hobbies are boxing, watching TV series and playing video games. Like Hayrunnisa, Demir also loves animals and doing activities as a family.
