I conducted this interview with Lucas in Spanish and then translated everything to English for all of you to read. Lucas is just starting to learn English in school and sometimes gets nervous speaking it. Although he lives in a different country than you, I wonder if you can find any similarties between his life and your life. Are his answers what you expected from someone who is your age living in Mexico?
Lucas Jimenez Flores
I live in Tlaxcala, Mexico. My house has two floors. The lower floor has a patio, a kitchen and a bathroom. The second floor has a bathroom, two bedrooms and a closet.
My mom is a hard worker, dedicated and intelligent. Addy, my cousin, is intelligent and very attached to her phone. My dad is tall, very strong and intelligent.
We get around mainly in the car, but sometimes by walking.
I feel most comfortable when I wear pants and a t-shirt.
