To get away from the cold of Ifrane, I traveled to the warmer city of Meknes this week. It was an hour drive from where my school is. It is also where the migrants I teach English to live.
So far I have traveled to four cities in Morocco. Can you find them on a map?
This week I traveled in a petit taxi and grand taxi. The petit taxi was 10 dirhams, $1, for a 15-minute drive. The grand taxi was 30 dirhams, $3, for a one-hour drive. Way cheaper than America!
I visited one of the oldest gates in Morocco: Bab Mansour. The gate was built in 1737 and is in the city of Meknes, Morocco.
A few of my friends traveled to see the Sahara Desert. I couldn't go, but I heard it was amazing! Hopefully I will be able to travel there and show you.
