Some kind professors and advisors at my University were able to help me find study abroad programs and scholarships. It was actually really easy! By reaching out to my local community for support, I was able to achieve my goal of studying abroad.
A few days before the official start date of my study abroad program, I arrived in Cape Town, South Africa for a short vacation. Upon my arrival in Cape Town, I was impressed by the white sandy beaches, the stony mountains and the colorful buildings. I am now excited to be studying abroad in Gaborone which is the capital city of Botswana. I am excited about sharing more about my semester abroad, and I look forward to hearing about your school adventures too!
