The city of Gaborone, Botswana is located on the Notwane River in between the Kgale and Oodi Hills. Gaborone is only nine miles from the border of the country, South Africa. The word "Gaborone" means "it does not fit badly" or "it is not unbecoming" in Botswana's native language, Setswana. The city was built with plenty of space for gardens, open spaces and crosswalks for pedestrians.
