The weather this week was mostly sunny and windy. During this time of the year, the weather will not fall below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, and most days will be sunny with wind. There have been slightly rainy and cloudy days here, but for the most part, it has been pretty warm with clear skies and no snow.
I saw many cats! Jordan has lots of stray cats and dogs, and they can be seen on every corner. Along with cats, I have seen plenty of sheep, goats and rams. These animals are locally herded a lot in Jordan, and if you wait around in a grassy area, you will likely see them pass by, and their owners will allow you to pet and feed them!
This week, I visited northern Jordan, specifically, a town called Um Qais. When at a high point in a mountain in Jordan, I was able to see multiple different countries: the Golan Heights (Syria), Palestine and Israel, and, even further away, Lebanon.
