How did I feel when I tried it?:

When I tried pierogis for the first time, I felt amazing! They're delicious!

How is the food prepared?:

Making pierogis from scratch is a long, but rewarding process. You need to prepare the dough using flour and eggs and cut little circles out of the dough. Then, you need to boil and mash potatoes for the filling. Then you'll need to put the filling in the circles and fold them into the shape of pierogis. Finally, you'll either need to boil or fry the pierogis to cook the dough. After that, congratulations! You've made delicious pierogis!

Is this food connected to the local environment? How?:

In order to make pierogis, you need wheat (to make flour) and potatoes.
