On morning walks, I will often see farmers taking their cows and goats out to the fields, and random chickens running around. The dogs love to bother them! I also got to see some cute baby pigs that a friend has. And you will find many guinea pigs here in Peru as it is a popular national dish that people enjoy eating.
One night, while watching the sunset on the fishing pier, a pod of dolphins swam by perfectly under the sun. I dreamed about being in the water with them, exploring the ocean here in Peru. I wondered where they were traveling to, and if they noticed me as I watched them pass by.
We currently have a pesky little moquitos that are spreading what is called "Dengue fever" which can make you very sick. Our town fumigated all of the houses, parks, and schools to try to get rid of the mosquitos. It was like watching a movie, as people put on white suits, gas masks, and entered homes with big smoke guns to spray chemicals that would kill the mosquitos.
