The weather was mostly cold and either sunny or cloudy. The temperature usually hovered around 45-50 degrees. It was definitely indoor weather, although nothing like the snow storms ravaging the U.S. east coast!
I really only saw dogs and some pigeons this week. As I said before, Spain really is a dog country, which suits me just fine. I'm allergic to cats and had a roommate who owned a really mean one, on top of it all. So I much prefer dogs.
I think the coolest thing I saw this week was the Retiro Park. I walked by it on Saturday afternoon. Retiro is the largest park in the city of Madrid and is sort of their Central Park. It's gorgeous on the inside. There is a lagoon to go boating in, a glass building for exhibits and miles of paths to walk. It's a lovely place and it's wonderful to take a stroll there!
