I got lost this week! I took the bus from my friend's house to class, but I didn't realize that it was the wrong bus. After a few familiar stops, the bus turned onto an avenue and just kept going. It was very dark outside and I didn't know where I was heading, but I knew it wasn't a part of the city that I knew. Instead of getting off at the first stop I rode the bus all the way to the last stop, which was in front of a mall. I was very far from home. After speaking with a stranger, I took a bus that brought me closer to my neighborhood, but still quite far. As a result, I was late for class.
The farthest I've traveled so far is to Boipeba, which is an island off the coast of Bahia. I took a taxi to a ferry, and from the ferry, I took another taxi to get the bus station. Then I took a bus to another port where I took a much smaller boat to finally arrive at Boipeba. Have you ever traveled by taxi, ferry, bus and boat all in the same day?
I took the bus and Uber to get around this week. I take the bus in the day to get to and from school.
