They always tell you that time flies when you're having fun. Now, it really does feel true. I have had such a wonderful experience getting to share my journey abroad with you. It wasn't too long ago that I was in the very same seats you were sitting in. When I was in high school, it never crossed my mind that I could one day find myself studying in another country. It wasn't until four months ago that I even left the United States to come here. And now, I can proudly say I've been to three different countries.
As always, here are some highlights I haven't gotten to share with you just yet! I got to see Lorde in concert! She is my absolute favorite artist, and she played all of my favorites. My highschool letterman jacket even has a lyric from "Supercut"! Additionally, I got to travel to Galway and Paris! I got to see my best friend, Dash, who is visiting in Galway. We went to a couple of markets, and I bought loads of gifts for family. Dash and I then went to Paris together for three days, and it was a blast. However, I do not recommend wearing Doc Martens to walk around a large city.
Alas, it seems my journey is coming to a close. When I first arrived, I was honestly feeling pretty alright about everything. It wasn't until about two weeks in that I really felt the shock of being somewhere entirely different.
