As our time together here comes to a close, I wanted to say thank you so much for coming with me on this journey. I’ve really enjoyed sharing some of my experiences with you. Living in France for me has been a crazy adventure, and 100% worth it, as I’ve gotten to see and do so many things, and I’ve met so many amazing people here while I was at it.

I hope you all will have the opportunity to travel and spend time abroad in the future; it really opens your eyes to so many things about humanity and the world that we tend to take for granted, and forces you to take an open-minded approach to learning about a different way of life. It's fascinating to experience an exterior perspective on the U.S.; I feel at once both more critical and aware of the things I think we could do better at home, but also more grateful for the many wonderful things that we already have that folks elsewhere in the world often don’t. Although so many things about France are different from the U.S., I’ve found that in both places, there are incredibly kind people who really care about making the world a better place, and people who love the arts and all the beauty that they offer us. I find that encouraging.
