I had a friend from Macalester who had also travelled to Singapore, so we spent the day hiking and lounging on the different beaches that day.
Since classes were starting this week, I read different things for the different classes that I was taking. I read different books and articles about quantum mechanics, psychology, language theory, and energy sustainability.
I attended a few different events for foreign exchange students, and many of them had me playing games with other exchange students from different countries. One of my favorite games that we got to play was Uno!
Interestingly, I remember that I picked up a newspaper during my first week and I was reading through different articles. One section had a small article talking about a virus that was spreading in the Wuhan Province of China. Who knew how significant that virus would turn out to be?!
