I am not sure exactly how far I traveled this week, but it was definitely a long way, as I drove around to different parts of the city and traveled on a ferry for a few hours. I also took public transportation a few times.
So far during this journey, I have travelled to a few different parts of the city in Singapore, as well as to some of the surrounding islands. Most of my time was spent living on the campus of Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
This week, my modes of transportation included cars, buses, metro trains, ferries, and an airplane.
The most interesting place I visited this week was a building on my school's campus. It is called the Hive because from the outside, it looks like a giant beehive!
I believe that the Chinese New Year celebration is at the end of this month (January). Since there is a large Chinese-identifying population living in Singapore, I have been told that the Chinese New Year celebrations, here, are very large, and a lot of fun to attend.
