School starts at 7:20 AM and ends around 2:30 PM. After school activities, like sports and other training or practices might go as late as 4:30 PM. Unlike in the U.S., Malaysia's school week is Sunday-Thursday.
Students often get to school by car, motorbike or van. Most Malaysians drive to get somewhere. Older students (as young as 16 years old) may drive themselves on a motorbike.
Students can eat lunch at the Koperasi (school store) or the Kanteen (canteen) which looks more like a cafeteria.
"Hello" in Malay is "Hai" which just sounds like "Hi." (They speak English and Malay at school as well as Arabic for prayer.)
Common names include Tasha, Siti, Aina (for girls) and, Aiman (for boys).
(Students take many classes here, including Science, Geography or History, Math, English, Malay and Religion. Many students say Science and Math are their favorite.)
