A Day in the life of Martina

My dad has his own pizza shop and makes pizzas all day. It's called Melt and he brought pizza for everyone in my class. They are tasty.  

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

School starts at 9 and I go home around 6:30. 

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

I go to school with my mom since she works here. I live too far away to go by myself. I am too young and my mom wouldn't let me go by myself.  

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I eat lunch here at the school with everyone else. My favorite food is chicken and rice. And Pizza too!  

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

We speak Spanish here but some of the class is in English. We say "hola" to say hello.  

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Some of my friend's names are Teddy, Isabella, Josefa, Santiago, Salvador, Violetta and Guilia. But there are a lot of Isabellas, Domingas, Augustins and Maxis at our school too. 

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

Right now we're learning about Earthquakes because Chile has a bunch of them. The little ones are called "temblores" and the big ones are called "terremotos." we have little ones almost every week! We're learning about rain and weather too right now. I like the earthquakes, but I liked learning about planets and dinosaurs the best.
