I traveled to the city of Rotterdam, which is about an hour south of Amsterdam by train. Rotterdam is the second largest city in the Netherlands, after Amsterdam.
So far, the farthest place that I have been is Berlin, Germany. By plane, the trip was about an hour. By train, the trip same trip takes about six hours!
I used the same modes of transportation: tram, bus, bike, train and Metro. However, I did alter my commute to work to cut down on biking (I was getting sweaty!). Now, I bike about five minutes, take the tram for twenty minutes, ride the Metro for five minutes and hop on a bus for the last forty minutes.
In Rotterdam, there are really neat architectural structures called the Cube Houses. The buildings look like nothing I have ever seen before!
