We have finally gotten through winter in the Netherlands and are just now getting past the dull, gray, gloomy spring season. The weather is finally up to the mid-50s during the day, which means I can walk around the city with just a sweater and not be cold. It is chilly early in the morning and at night but overall, I'm happy to be done with the rain.
We really don't see many animals in the Netherlands. No deer, unfortunately, which is what I'm used to seeing around my hometown of Peoria, IL. Aside from the one stray black cat in the neighborhood, all I see are people's dogs.
No cool nature this week. It's actually extremely disappointing, but I don't see much other than a few trees. Occasionally I see some really pretty plants, but nothing too exciting.
