






Throughout India, almost 150 different languages are commonly spoken, so most people are fluent in multiple languages. In Delhi, many people speak Hindi and English.
Delhi, like the rest of India, uses the Indian rupee. The bills are brightly colored and have images of Mahatma Gandhi on them!
Water is incredibly inexpensive. A bottle typically costs 25 rupees (about 35 cents!).

This week, I went with a friend to a big mall in Delhi to ice-skate. The rink was tiny, but the staff played amazing Bollywood music for us. Most of the locals there had never skated before, so everyone was falling while trying to dance to the music!
