Guinea fowl are the same size as chickens. They have dark grey feathers covered in white dots. They have a blue head with a red mouth. This type of guinea fowl is called helmeted guinea fowl because the birds have an orange bump on top of their head!
I felt happy because guinea fowl make funny sounds that always make me laugh!
Guinea fowl are found all over the grasslands or savannas of Africa.
Guinea fowl sleep in trees, so they stay safe from animals that would eat them.
Guinea fowl are birds, so any animal that eat meatis a threat to them. We are not very worried about the survival of guinea fowl in Namibia. Namibians care about their beautiful country and are careful not to destroy the plants and creatures in their enviroment.
