How was the weather this week?: The weather was hot most days, with many scattered showers throughout the days. The average temperature was 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
What animals did I see this week? : So many! We went on a game drive at Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda and got close to many animals that I have only seen in zoos. We saw elephants, antelopes, giraffes, alligators, lions, water buffalo and a leopard. All of these animals live in the protected park and they get to roam free! It was awesome to see these animals living in a more natural habitat than a zoo.
What was the coolest thing I saw in nature this week?: The coolest thing that I saw in nature this week was the Nile River, the longest river on earth! It goes from Egypt all the way down to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), passing through 11 countries in total.
