Now I am ready to start analyzing my samples in the lab and peer into the microscopic world hidden within the grains of sand.
A few weeks ago my friend invited me to attend a camp he organized for his Form Four and Form Five students (14-year-olds and 15-year-olds) in Jerteh, Terengganu, a town on the northern-most border of the state. At the camp, I had fun meeting his students and talking with them about the role of sea turtles in aquatic (ocean) ecosystems and the importance of marine conservation (saving the ocean).
