The weather is changing! This past summer it was warm and sunny everyday, but now we are entering monsoon (heavy rain) season. The weather is becoming cooler. The days are cloudier, and during the night it rains. Sometimes it's so cool I even have to wear pants and a sweater! I might need to buy a coat before long.
There are so many cats here in Terengganu! The cats roam around freely. On campus, many students feed and take care of the cats and some even keep them as pets. To all you dog lovers out there, I’m sorry to report that there are not so many dogs here in Terengganu. Although there are a few wild dogs, dogs are not typically kept as pets. This is because many people in Terengganu practice Islam and it is haram (forbidden by Islamic law) to touch a dog. Although many citizens in Terengganu are not able to keep dogs as pets, they still love these furry friends from afar.
