Since spring is approaching, there are many flowers blooming and filling the city with beautiful, vibrant colors. However, this week I was able to travel to another part of Seoul and see more of nature. I came across a whole row filled with blooming forsythia bushes, which are bright yellow flowers that are gathered together. After having pointed out these beautiful flowers to my friend, she taught me that the Korean word for forsythia is 개나리 (gaenali).
Besides the forsythias and many Korean Magpies I've seen, it is also Cherry Blossom season here. There are so many cherry blossom trees planted throughout South Korea that I do not have to travel far to see them.
