What was the best meal this week?:

The best meal I had this week was dinner last night, where we had stir fry noodles and chicken sandwiches. I had a salad, a variety of cheese, a chicken sandwich and tasty roasted veggies. But the best part was the beet salad: it was so good I had to go back for seconds!

What music did I listen to this week?:

My music options on the boat are pretty limited since I don't have Wi-Fi, so I can only listen to songs I downloaded ahead of time. I listen to a lot of R&B, reggae, and country and slightly more upbeat music and rap when I'm working out. Right now, I'm listening to “Feels Like Summer” by Childish Gam bino for probably the second or third time today. Another song that has been coming up a lot in my playlist this week is “Nothing's New” by Clint Black. However, the music I enjoyed most wasn't digital—it was listening to my friends Xavier, Sean and Brannum play their guitars and sing for us on the ship’s deck the other night.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

This sea stretch has consisted of a lot of schoolwork. Since we don't have class when we are in port, our sea stretches are the only days we actually have class. It is common for the days of the week to get mixed up—like today is Sunday, when we would normally be free, and I just finished my International Business Marketing exam. This has definitely been an adjustment. Aside from schoolwork, I really enjoy working out at the gym, especially going for runs on the treadmill. This stretch has been pretty rocky, so running on the treadmill is a whole new challenge as you try not to run off the sides! I also really like going to the pool and hanging out with my friends.
