I did not have to travel very far this week. I walked about 10 steps from my bed to the table where I work, and when I need a change of scenary, I drive maybe 10 minutes to the coffee shop where I am a regular.
I have traveled very minimally on this journey so far, due to my journey being held virtually because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
I drove to different coffee shops in my car, which is fairly typical in the U.S. Italians tend to get around town by either train or bus, both of which are less commonly used where I live.
The most interesting place I have visited was this high-end Italian pizza restaurant called Vecchia Pizzeria. It gave me the feeling of being in Italy, dining on a regular Saturday afternoon.
