The furthest I traveled this week was to Tiradentes. I had to take three different buses in order to arrive at the city.
The furthest that I have traveled on this journey was to São Paulo. São Paulo and Vitória are the only places I have visited outside of the state of Minas Gerais. Brazil is a pretty large country, so it takes a flight or a long bus ride to journey outside of any given state.
I got around by taking buses and caronas (ride-sharing cars).
The coolest thing I saw this week was an incredible Mexican restaurant in Tiradentes. They had many photos of the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo all over the restaurant. She is my favorite artist!
I met many interesting people on my bus ride to Tiradentes. I met an incredible photographer who showed me beautiful pictures of many regions in Brazil.
