It was a great experience to be a student in a college town and to study abroad in both Madrid and Berlin.
For my thesis project, I had the opportunity to work with an immigrant advocacy organization and provide them with a country conditioning report. Interestingly, I was assigned to research refugees fleeing political violence in Colombia. As I delved deeper into its history, I became increasingly fascinated by its culture and determined to find a way to visit.
Now that I am here, I have gained a solid understanding of life in the rural Andean region but still have much left to explore in this vast country. ¿Están listos para seguir recorriendo conmigo? (Are you ready to keep traveling with me?)
