The weather this week in North Macedonia has been wonderful! The air has become crisp and cool and the sun has been shining nearly every day. The weather has also been very dry this week. It has not rained in my town for over two weeks, causing the grass to turn into sand and the leaves to turn yellow. The dry weather has felt very different than the humid and rainy weather at home in Maryland.
North Macedonia has many different types of animals that are similar to the animals in the U.S. such as doves, bears, wild boars, wolves, deer and lynx. There are also lots of stray cats and dogs in North Macedonia. During my free time, I enjoy walking around the town and feeding the stray cats and dogs. They are so sweet and adorable!
